FACILITY USAGE POLICY

Scope: This policy governs the facility usage of all EDUWEB College locations.
Definitions:
Internal– The categories that encompass the definition of internal users are listed and defined below:
1. Employees – those who develop, maintain and moderate content for staff and students as well as those who provide support services for them.
2. Students and Recognized College Groups - those who use facilities for activities and services planned by, and for the benefit of, the College’s students. These students and groups must be recognized by the company.

External– The categories that encompass the definition of internal users are listed and defined below:
1. External Company Employees – Some courses are delivered to companies under a special arrangement. Their employees may be given access to the College’s materials and resources. These companies and their employees will be treated in a similar manner to Internal Students and Recognized College Groups above.

Policy:

1. Education classes, and regularly scheduled company events, receive first priority in scheduling classrooms in any facility and may be scheduled at any time.
2. Company telephones are limited to employee use only except in the case of an emergency.
3. Food and drink may not be served in computer labs.
4. All events must be approved in writing from the Administrative Director of the College before being allowed to occur.
5. Placement of signs and decorations and their installation require prior approval. Nails, hooks, tacks, tape, screws, or other similar devices used to secure signs or decorations that may damage walls are prohibited. Any room used during an event must be cleaned and left in its original condition and may be subject to inspection by a representative of the college and / or landlord after the event. Reasonable charges may be assessed against the user for the costs of clean-up or for the repair of damaged property.
