Purpose
EDUWEB College recognizes the importance of receiving and responding to feedback from its stakeholders, that is, staff, students, parents as well as those transact business with us. This policy outline principles, responsibilities and procedures in relation to obtaining, analysing, evaluating and disseminating data concerning the quality of the learning and teaching experiences of our students and our relationship with other stakeholders. The college will use the feedback obtained as well as other sources of data, to assist it to continuously improve its courses, teaching and learning methods and guide the way in which we interact with our stakeholders.
Scope
This policy applies to all EDUWEB College courses, students, staff, parents, suppliers and others who interact with the college on a frequent basis.
Aim
- To identify the data that is meaningful to the college
- To identify the methods and frequency to collect this data
- To collect only the data that is required and in an ethical manner that respects the confidentiality and privacy of the stakeholder
- To inform the respondents / students / stakeholders why the data is being collected and if that data will be shared with anyone else
- To use the data in the manner intended, that is, to improve the quality of the student learning experience, improve the quality of our course offering or improve the way the college interacts with our stakeholders
- To store the data safely to avoid loss, theft and unauthorised disclosure
- To ensure our staff are aware of and understand this policy and procedures
Policy
The Programme Managers from the Academic division will solicit feedback from students and lecturers. The Programme managers will be responsible for creating, maintaining, disseminating, collating and reporting on the following:
Students
- Student satisfaction (End of course) surveys.
- Lecturer Evaluation Form
- Start-of-course diagnostic questionnaires
- Mid-course diagnostic questionnaires
- End-of-course diagnostic questionnaires
The Customer Service Representatives from the Administrative division will solicit feedback from the parents of students and other stakeholders. The Administrative division will be responsible for creating, maintaining, disseminating, collating and reporting on the following:
Staff
- Personality Test
- Performance Appraisal Report
Lecturers
- Lecturer feedback form recommending improvements to the class
- Teacher assessment of student performance
Other Stakeholders
- Parent satisfaction surveys.
- Employer satisfaction surveys.

All college staff (all academic and administrative staff, contracted workers) will:
- Identify which data items are important for them to carry out their functions or measure their performance
- Identify how frequently these data items are required
The college will:
- Determine ethical methods of collecting the data that respects the confidentiality and privacy of the stakeholder
- Inform the respondents / students / stakeholders why the data is being collected and if that data will be shared with anyone else
- Determine the methods used to secure the data against loss, theft and unauthorised disclosure
- Train all relevant staff on the importance and application of this policy and its procedures (training videos)
- Have the reports presented to the board for their consideration.
