Online Forum, Online Group Terms of Use Policy

Use of the online groups and discussion forums by staff and students of EDUWEB College is permitted and encouraged where such use supports the goals and objectives of the business. However, access to our online groups and forums is a privilege and all users must adhere to the policies concerning its usage.

While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently EDUWEB College reserves the right to take any actions deemed appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way. Violation of these policies could result in disciplinary action leading up to and including dismissal of staff and termination of student registration.

Terms of Use

  • The online services and technology used on the group discussion and forums are the property of EDUWEB College and the company reserves the right to monitor, review and access data that is composed, sent or received throughout. All discussions and downloads may be blocked or removed by EDUWEB College if they are deemed to be harmful and/or not productive to the business and its users.
  • All emails and post sent via the company communication system should not contain content that is deemed to be offensive. Users are strictly prohibited from sending or posting any unlawful, offensive, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, fraudulent, sexually explicit, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable messages of any sort.
  • Users are expressly prohibited from compiling, requesting, stealing, using, or disclosing someone else's password or personal information without authorization, including, telephone numbers, email addresses or other contact information.
  • You may not upload or transmit any material that infringes or misappropriates any person's patent, trademark, or trade secrets. Do not post logos or share any information or other material protected by copyright without the permission of the copyright owner.
  • Do not send or post information that is defamatory to the company, its products/services, staff members and other users. There are existing channels available for you to discuss grievances or issues; we reserve the right to remove any posts we deem as falling outside this policy.
  • All postings shall be for informational and discussion purposes only. Commercial use or any other unauthorized use of the forums is prohibited. Do not use the forums to advertise, solicit or conduct business, including the direct or indirect marketing of users’ products or services, in any manner. The forums may not be used to provide information, materials, products, or services in exchange for compensation of any kind.
  • We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to and use of the online forums and discussions groups without notice, if we believe, in our sole discretion, that such use (i) is in violation of any applicable law; (ii) is harmful to our interests or the interests and rights of other users; or (iii) where we have reason to believe that you are in violation of this policy.
  • You should not post any material that is knowingly false, misleading, and inaccurate or cannot be substantiated. Also, do not post material outside of the stated topic nor disrupt others’ use of the site by, for example, deliberately posting repeated or irrelevant material.
  • You will not behave in an abusive manner, and will not harass, threaten, nor attack anyone. If you disagree with someone's posting or comment, don't attack that person ... agree to disagree, respectfully.
  • Your profile picture should be representative of you and the image you expect to portray in a professional environment. Remember your profile will potentially be viewed by other users. Sexually explicit or inappropriate images are not allowed.
  • If you find any material published to the forums to be offensive or objectionable, please contact us by email at contact@eduwebcollege.com. If we determine that removal of material is necessary, we will make reasonable efforts to do so in a timely manner.

All terms of use in this document are applicable to all users of EDUWEB College online communication portals.  Any user violating these policies is subject to disciplinary actions deemed appropriate by EDUWEB College.
