Marketing has the task of connecting a business to its customers and plays a vital role in assuring the long-term viability of the organisation. To be able to understand customers, competitors and the organisation’s environments you must be able to gather a range of marketing information.
In this course you will consider the main elements of a marketing information system, the key types of data used by marketers and the methods of gathering this data. You will examine the key elements of the marketing mix and consider how it can be developed, deployed and applied to the marketing mix in different organisational contexts.
