Refund Policy

Purpose

This policy document provides the information and the procedures for processing refunds for both local and external courses and programmes offered at the College.

Introduction

At EDUWEB College, we are committed to providing quality education to all our students. This commitment includes a number of activities and support services provided by the College. As such, the College charges no registration fees, but students are required to pay their full tuition fees on or before the start date of their registered course or programme.

Students who are registered for programmes with external fees, must pay their external registration, examination, assignment and all other fees before the specified deadline dates. Specifically, registered and non-registered students of the Association of Business Executive (ABE) programme, should refer to ABE’s Refund Policy 2.0. This document is available on the EDUWEB College ABE information page (https://eduwebtt.com/abe/) and provides full details of their refund policy.

Withdrawal from Course/ Programme from (EDUWEB)

This refund policy applies to all students regardless of the course or programme for which they are enrolled. However, we do understand that there are some unforeseen circumstances that can arise that may cause students to withdraw from a registered course or programme. Such reasons may include (personal, medical, academic, official withdrawal due to lack of funds etc.). It is important that each student follow the guidelines outlined in this document as it relates to course cancellation.

  • Students can withdraw from their course or programme with the College before the start of their class, full tuition will be refunded less bank charges. It is important to note that all external fees for courses and programmes may or may not be refunded. Please refer to the ABE’s Refund Policy 2.0 for the procedures for processing their refunds.
  • Students who for disciplinary reasons are dismissed, suspended or expelled from classes are not entitled to a refund in full or part thereof.
  • Students will be refunded on all tuition, less bank charges, if for any reason they are not accepted by the external body.
  • Students will be refunded on all tuition, less bank charges, if that course is cancelled by the College.

Course/ Programme Withdrawal and Refund Procedure with EDUWEB

  • Withdrawal from a course or programme must be done via written request (letter) or email at least three (3) days before the scheduled start date of the course/ programme. Request for withdrawal or refunds outside of the three (3) day period will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • A written withdrawal request must be submitted to accounts@eduwebcollege.com. Reason for the withdrawal and supporting documents to the request if applicable, should be attached e.g. medication, practitioner’s letter, etc.
  • If a student chooses to withdraw from a course or programme after commencement, then the student will not be entitled to a full refund. Refer to the information detailed in Table 1.0 below. Reference would be made to the attendance roll to determine the number of classes attended, in order to calculate if a refund will be processed.
  • Refunds must be authorized by the Head of the Accounts Department before it can be processed. Note: All bank charges will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Request for refund must be made by the registered student once they are over the age of 18 years. If a third party made the payment on the student’s behalf, then further authorization will be required. This will involve the use of personal identification documents, as well as proof of payment to the College.
