This practical course gives your child a solid foundation in Creative Writing. It prepares them for the September Term whether it is a higher class or a new school. In addition to the online classes with a live teacher, you get free 24/ 7 access to all of the recordings of the live classes.

This course has been developed specifically for:
– Students in Forms 1 to 5
– Repeaters
– Students who just want a more solid foundation for secondary school

Topics:
– Descriptive writing using parts of speech
– Imagery – using 5 senses to create a description
– How to build characters
– Elements of a story – setting, plot, characters, message (theme), problem, solution, rising and falling action.
– How to use literary devices to enrich writing
– How to write a paragraph
– Different ways to start a story

Start date for live online classes: Wednesday 16th July, 2025
Classes: Wednesdays and Thursdays
Time:    11:00am to 1:00pm

Course Duration: 8 2-hour lessons with a live teacher (16 hours).
